The date is yet to be confirmed, however, we will welcome Guest Author and Genealogy expert M.K. Jacobs to Hester Canterbury hopefully on Thursday 18 May at 10:30am. A sign-up form will be available at the Reception desk once the date has been locked in. - HESTER CLASS
There is nothing more Australian than the beautifully cinematographed classic ‘The Man from Snowy River’ starring Hollywood royalty in Kirk Douglas. Based on Banjo Patterson’s poem, the movie is set to a back drop of the Australian Alps and sees a young stockman pursue a valuable colt running free with brumbies, but he ends up with something more rewarding. Screening Tuesday 2 May at 7:30pm.

RESIDENT SURVEY IS LIVE
You should have either received an email or hard copy of the Hester Canterbury Resident Survey in your mailbox, asking you to please take 10 minutes out of your day to complete. Your feedback and insight is extremely valuable in helping us to provide an exceptional living experience and ensure the services we provide are of a high standard. If you require a hard copy or would like to complete the survey online, please let me know and I shall organize that for you. Don’t delay as the Survey will close at 5pm Friday 5 May, 2023.
ARM CHAIR TRAVEL
Everyone has a favourite holiday destination, so I’m calling all would be Tour Guides and asking each resident to submit either a short story about their favourite destination and why, a funny tale from their travels, or even just one word stating the destination. I hope to capture a different magnificent destination each week. The prize will be that you will all get to travel around the world in your imaginations, without even leaving Hester Canterbury. Please submit your favourite destination to me in writing, email, or text. Bon voyage and safe travels.

DRIVEWAY SALE
Looking to right size your living even more so, or maybe cook up a storm, then maybe we could look at holding a Driveway Sale to move along some unwanted items from your life, or serve up a delicious offering of home made treats to entice the locals.
