Important Dates

• Friday 25, Saturday 26, Sunday 27 and Monday 28 December.
  The above dates are Christmas Public Holidays. Hester Canterbury will not be staffed on the above dates. If you have a meal ordered on any of these days, they will be delivered to the Hester Canterbury kitchen fridge and must be collected by you.Save the date:
  Sunday 25,  Hester Canterbury Australia Day Barbeque.

Housekeeping Notices

• Christmas Raffle
  Last chance to win a wonderful raffle prize! Make sure to have filled in a ticket in the raffle ticket book on the reception desk.The raffle will be drawn Thursday 24 December and the winner announced in next week’s newsletter.Cleaning
  Early in the new year the external cleaning of the building will continue incrementally; as one area is cleaned the equipment will then be moved to the next area for  the work to be undertaken.
  Some of the windows may be marked by this cleaning, however they will all be rinsed as the work is finished.
  The reason the windows were cleaned prior to these works being done is that, understandably, many residents wanted the windows cleaned prior to the Christmas period.
  Should you need any urgent repair or maintenance work done over the holiday period, please refer to the Hester Canterbury Emergency Process flow chart, previously issued to all residents

Christmas Message…

It has been a trying year and you have dealt with each and every difficulty with strength, stoicism and good grace.
In western cultures there can sometimes be a tendency to dismiss those over a certain age; all at Hester Canterbury have shown that you are all a force to be reckoned with as you took every change and limitation of liberty in your stride.
May all of us at BASScare take this opportunity to wish you all a joyous festive season and we are looking forward to 2021 being a better and brighter one for all.
