THE SURVEY SAID?
Firstly, I would like to thank everyone that took the time to complete the April Residents’ Survey and for assisting us to work on continuous improvement. The results have now been collated and a summary report created that will be available in your mailbox soon. We will look to address any concerns that impact the community and areas where we can enhance a greater living experience. If you have any questions regarding the survey results once published, please let me know.

WINTER WARMERS TO DELIGHT
The much anticipated Hester Canterbury Winter Menu is hot off the press and looking every bit enticing. Commencing Monday 19 June, there is a wonderful selection of four Main Meals, two Desserts and a Soup available daily, Monday to Friday. You can also select from six Frozen Meals that can be put aside for a rainy day, or weekend. Select one a week, one a month, it’s entirely up to you. If you would like to peruse the Winter menu, please let me know.

ONE WAY DOOR
If you are not already aware, the Ground Floor South Wing door that exits out to the covered walkway leading to the back gate and West Wing, is presently unserviceable. You can enter from the outside, however, the button on the inside is broken. We are awaiting the contractor to source a new button. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Week One of the Winter Menu starts on Monday 19 June.
Please place any orders by 1pm the Thursday before.
Bon Appetit!

THE SILENT BOOK CLUB
As there are some serious book worms amongst us and a beautiful Library teaming with a plethora of all sorts of books, out of interest I thought maybe you would like to share with the residents your all time favourite book, and the reason why. Books bring so much pleasure to so many and is a wonderful avenue for escapism and to while away the hours. In most circumstances it is word of mouth that brings a potentially life changing book to your attention, or a tale that stays with you for many years to come. As Hester Canterbury does not presently have an official Book Club, if you would like to submit your favourite book and a few words behind your recommendation, please either write it down on a piece of paper and place it in the Hester Manager’s mailbox, or email me the details. Thank you.

TIME TO SHINE
Just a reminder that the Accreditation Team will be visiting Hester Canterbury on Friday 30 June. As part of the accreditation process, they will be touring all over the complex and conducting interviews with staff and residents, to capture the information they require. If you would like any further clarification about this process, please let me know.

Have a fabulous week and take care.
