  • FOOD FOR THOUGHT
The Hester Canterbury Autumn Menu is live and awaiting your attention. Every night, once a week or once a month, it’s your choice. If you need a copy of the Menu, please let me know. Starts Monday, so ensure your order is submitted to me by Thursday afternoon.
  • HESTER CLASS
If you have ever flicked through the pages of a classic Jane Austen novel then you know any adaptation is going to be a real treat. Screening Tuesday 14 March in Hester Class is the period piece ‘Persuasion’ which follows gorgeous people in fabulous clothes randomly exchanging snappy banter and shadowing a young lady looking for love and happiness.

Notices:

THE KEY TO BEING LOCKED OUT
During Stage Two of construction the ground floor Key Safes will be off limits, so if you find yourself locked out of your apartment and before you organize a sleepover at your neighbours, please contact me (Chris) during business hours (Mon-Fri) and Geoff or John.F after hours and weekends for access.

SYSTEM CHECKING COMPLIANCE
As a signatory to the Code of Conduct and we strive forward with our Australian Retirement Village Accreditation Scheme application, one of the requirements is to nominate a Compliance Officer. I am pleased to advise you that Hester Canterbury’s compliance officer is Menon Sooben, General Manager Compliance, Risk & Continuous Improvement at BASScare.

THE GOOD JUICE
Wake up your plants, set the table and serve up a rich cocktail of Worm Juice, now available in the South and West Refuse Rooms. The full bodied organic plant tonic is available to all residents to use on their balcony or patio gardens, so don’t delay as there is plenty more from where our first vintage came from. Please ask Martin (the Gardener) for the correct amount to pour onto the plants if unsure. Here’s to a greener Hester Canterbury.

Week One of the Autumn Menu starts on Monday 13 March.
Please place any orders by 1pm the Thursday before.
Bon Appetit!

DON’T DELAY A LITTLE HELP

EVEN ROCK BOTTOM HAS A BASEMENT
Though 95% of Stage One is now complete, I will continue to work from the basement up until the floorboards are removed and the concrete grinding is complete, as operationally it would be very difficult to conduct conversations or take telephone calls from the ground floor office. If you need to speak with me, drop something off, or just after a chat, please push B on the lift to visit me. Have a fantastic week and take care.
