ACCESS DENIED BEYOND THIS POINT
If you’re having flashbacks of the dentist chair and the traumatizing noise and vibration of the drill, then I’d say that you are well aware of the Construction Works taking place at the front of Hester Canterbury. Replacement of the floorboards is traveling along well and just a reminder that the Foyer / Reception area is strictly off limits to everyone due to the potential for injury. Also, during Stage One of the works, the Club Lounge & Dining Room lights will need to remain on day and night as there’s no access to the switchboard. Please note that there is still access to the intercom for visitors, and for parcel deliveries. We thank you for your consideration and patience during this time and if you have any questions, please let me know.

WE’RE ON THE MOVE
Originally ear marked for Stage Two of construction when the Club Lounge and Dining Room will be off limits, your new communal lounge will be created in Apartment G.02 and will consist of chairs, tables, tea and coffee making facilities and a sprinkle of community spirit. This move will be expedited in the coming days to alleviate the current discomfort with noise and dust. Your mail and parcels will continue to be placed in the Private Dining Room until the completion of Stage One works. If you have any questions or suggestions, please pay me a visit or place a note in the letterbox in the Private Dining Room.

Week Three of the Summer Menu starts on Monday 13 February.
Please place any orders by 1pm the Thursday before.
Bon Appetit!

CROSSING OFF YOUR LIST
The level crossing removal at Union and Mont Albert Roads is about to enter the final long stage in which the crossings will be removed and the new lines will be created.
To accommodate this, please note the following closures and public transport disruptions. So you can plan ahead, commencing 17 February through to early May, both Union Road and Mont Albert Road railway crossings will be CLOSED to traffic and pedestrians. In addition, buses will replace trains between Box Hill and Camberwell in both directions.

TAKE A MINUTE FROM YOUR WORKOUT
There’s no time like the present to donate 5 minutes of your time to a little exercise, be it a stroll outside in nature or a little peddle on the bike in the Hester Canterbury Gym.
If you are a regular at the Gym or just starting off your exercise journey, could you please take a moment to complete the Sign In / Sign Out form on the table and wipe down the equipment after use with the wipes provided so it’s ready for the next person. Before you go, rehydrate with a cup of ice cold lemon water provided to quench your thirst.

Thank you and have a wonderful week.
