Please note that the Oakleigh Brass Band scheduled to perform this Sunday 5 March has been cancelled due to a lack of residents signing up to attend. We will look at our next exciting Community Event post the completion of the floorboard replacement in the Club Lounge / Dining Room.
It’s a new month, therefore a new selection of cinematic greats playing on the Big Screen @ Hester Class. To kick things off, ‘Charlie’s Country’ sees acclaimed indigenous actor David Gulpilil play a Yolngu man in his sixties coming to grips with a country he feels out of place in and fighting the imposed culture foreign to his ancestry. Lights down 7:30pm Tuesday 7 March.

I will attempt to move as much of your creature comforts to G.02, however please let me know if there is anything you feel needs to be relocated during construction.

Week Two of the Summer Menu starts on Monday 06 March.
Please place any orders by 1pm the Thursday before.
Bon Appetit!

As mentioned in the Newsletter 15 March, we reiterate the importance of adhering to unannounced Fire Alarms at all times and ask that you familiarize yourself with the following Fire Orders that may just save your life and that of others. Please be mindful that you rarely get a second chance in an Emergency so if you hear the Fire Alarm, evacuate the building. If mobility is an issue, make your way to a fire proof stairwell and wait for assistance.

Have a fantastic week and take care.
